The Pixma 9000 Mark Ii is simply the best deal currently available in any place when it comes to pro large format printers. There are faster and better quality printers out there, but not at the deal price that Canon is selling the Pixma 9000 Mark Ii for!

Canon knows very well that a buyer will end up spending more money on ink and paper in the long run than on the inkjet printer itself; so Canon is selling the Pixma 9000 Mark Ii real cheap just so they can get your future business. That strategy means big savings for whatever in the market for a large format printer. So often, cheap means inferior quality; this is undoubtedly not the case with the Pixma Pro 9000 Mark Ii.

The Pixma 9000 Mark Ii creates vivid and finely detailed prints. These are Lab quality prints and plentifulness of professionals are using this printer to sell and display their photographs. Of policy print quality depends on the primary quality and resolution of the image. Frankly, this printer is meant for those who are shooting with one of Canon's Digital Slr's; whatever less would unmistakably be a waste. If you fall into this class then you'll be thrilled with the prints that the Pixma 9000 Mark Ii can reproduce, especially when you see your first 13" x 19" print; which is the largest size the Pixma 9000 will accommodate.

New to the Pixma 9000 Mark Ii is Canon's Ambient Light correction technology, which lets you define the kind of lighting your photo will be viewed under and the software make the indispensable adjustments. I personally prefer Photoshop because I always heighten and edit my images before I print them; but you can print directly from your camera through PictBridge and you can also print directly from Raw files without having to do any conversions.

Canon engineered the Pixma 9000 for ease of use and low maintenance. Switching out ink tanks is as easy as it gets and, in my experience, I've never had problems with paper getting jammed in the feeder or getting even slighty creased. There are two feeding trays: one on the back for regular papers and a feed on the front for the heavier and thicker art stocks.
The biggest correction though is the increased printing speed of the Pixma 9000 Mark Ii which is three times faster than its predecessor. How fast depends on primary image resolution, how large your printing, and the ppi your printing at.
The Pixma 9000 Mark Ii is quite large, but that's to be staggering with a printer that can churn out 13" x 19" prints. This bad boy is just over 2 feet wide, about 8 inches high, and about 13 inches deep so you need some space to accommodate the size and allow for the back feeding tray to be fully extended. Even if you have to buy an additional one little table or desk for it it's well worth it.
If you've ever wanted to print large lab quality prints without the hassle, waiting and price of going through a pro lab then the Pixma 9000 Mark Ii is more than up to the job.
